Pope Francis has called 2025 the Year of Hope and the Year of Pilgrims. Many people have answered this call and have done a pilgrimage or are planning to do so – especially during this Holy Year.
Pope Francis has gone on his own journey but his initiative continues. Thousands of pilgrims visit Rome each day and celebrate their faith while welcoming Pope Leo XIV.
