Easter 2024

Kia ora and greetings,

As we are approaching the Easter Triduum, we are sending you our best wishes from Titipounamu Study & Joy.

Our Bible Q&A and discussion – a 1h Zoom session on the first Sunday of the month have been very fruitful. It is wonderful to see the diverse questions people have when they read the Bible, and to see that we are all learning. The invitation to join for one hour per month is always open. The participants don’t form a closed group, and we welcome anybody who would like to know more about the Bible.

Our next series consists of 4 sessions on the topic of miracles. Kieran Fenn fms will lead us through miracles in the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke.

We have had wonderful feedback on our booklets on the Stations of the Cross with a special focus on hands. Bill Verryt presented the original carvings last week and gave us more information about why he focussed on hands. We will have more on this story available, soon.
We are pleased to have the booklets on the Stations of the Cross available in four languages: English, Samoan, Fijian and German. The booklets are size A6, so they are easy to take with you for a special time of prayer. They can be used at any time of the year—not just during Lent. The standard A6 booklet is available for $7 (incl. postage within New Zealand). The English version is now also available in A5. For more information, see here.

Recent interviews on YouTube include: Christian Meditation (Fr Peter Murphy) and Pink Shoes to the Vatican (Christina Reymer).
